Financing

Althought flight training is not normally eligible for traditional Federal Title IV Financial Aid (Stafford Loans, Pell Grants, etc.) as flight instruction is a non-collegiate program. AFTC does utilize the services of a variety of lending agencies to provide financing for its students:

  • Meritize Financial – Unlike traditional lenders that rely solely on FICO scores, and other financial records to determine whether to lend to an individual. the Meritize platform considers the full depth of an individual’s academic or military achievements to enhance credit evaluation and potentially improve loan options.  Click here for more information.
  • Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association – Flexible Aviation Loan Program.  Finance your entire training program through one of the most respected names in the industry.  Click here for more information or to apply.
  • Lendingtree.com – shops a variety of lenders for personal loans for flight training.  Finance your entire training program.  Click here for more information or to apply.
  • Flight Training Finance was created specifically to address loans for training.  Borrow up to $40,000.  Apply through AFTC for the fastest response.
